In an effort to streamline services and lower costs, Northern Arizona Healthcare eliminated nine administrative positions Wednesday. The nine positions included four vice presidents and five directors. The positions ranged from the NAH vice president of process improvement and procurement to the Flagstaff Medical Center director of marketing. NAH is the parent organization of FMC as well as the Verde Valley Medical Center in Cottonwood and other subsidiaries. "These were position-driven decisions, not personnel decisions, intended to drive greater efficiency and value, allowing us to better serve our patients at the bedside and in the physician office setting," NAH President and CEO Bill Bradel wrote in an email.
