Jackson's new boss is likely to be offered a salary of $666,000 to $1 million, plus an additional 20% for benefits, if industry benchmarks are followed for a public system of Jackson's size, the search committee for the Public Health Trust was told. Eneida Roldan, the present chief executive, earns $665,000 a year. She has announced she won't seek a renewal of her contract, which expires May 31.
