MA physicians receiving payments from pharmaceutical companies

Seven pharmaceutical companies -- AstraZeneca, Cephalon, Eli Lilly, GlaxoSmithKline, Merck & Co., Pfizer, and Johnson & Johnson -- have posted on their websites payments they've made to US physicians for speaking and consulting in 2009 and part of 2010. ProPublica, an online investigative journalism organization, merged the databases into one. Here are payments the companies made to Massachusetts physicians. It is important to note that just a fraction of drug makers publicly report this information, so this is not a complete list of doctors who have earned money working with the pharmaceutical industry. Doctors on the list may also have received payments from other companies not listed. Also, the companies that have disclosed this information, have done so for varying quarters.
