Cystic-fibrosis patients in Canada live a decade longer than US patients, study says

The study's researchers said they don't know what accounts for the disparity, but a higher rate of lung transplants among Canadian patients and the country's widely accessible health-care system may be among the factors. The study was published in the Annals of Internal Medicine.
