The announcement came almost four months after AMITA's new CEO took over.

AMITA Health appointed Elyse Forkosh Cutler as its new chief strategy officer (CSO), according to a press release issued Friday afternoon.

Forkosh Cutler will begin her new role on June 2 at the Lisle, Illinois–based Catholic health system.

For the past eight years, Forkosh Cutler served as president of Sage Health Strategy, a Chicago-based health strategy firm she founded.

AMITA noted that Forkosh Cutler previously served as vice president of strategic planning and network development at Advocate Health Care.

The announcement came almost four months after AMITA's new CEO, Keith Parrot, FACHE, took over.

“We are excited to have Elyse join AMITA Health,” Parrott said in a statement. “She brings valuable experience in health care strategy and business development, along with extensive knowledge of metropolitan Chicago’s healthcare market.” In this role, she will be responsible for the ongoing development of AMITA Health’s strategy, driving new business development initiatives, strategic partnerships and other growth opportunities.

Forkosh Cutler is the most recent addition to AMITA's C-suite.

In late February, the system announced the appointment of Richard Douglas “Doug” Carter, CPA, as CFO. Carter assumed his new role in April.
