Blake Medical Center CEO Dan Friedrich, 63, announces retirement

Dan Friedrich, who spearheaded the successful drive seven years ago to create the first trauma center in Florida's Manatee County at Blake Medical Center along with other new services, is leaving after 15 years as Blake’s chief executive officer. Friedrich said he will not retire until his successor is found by Blake’s parent company, HCA Healthcare.
