General Electric Co.'s healthcare unit has announced a partnership with CardioDx, which develops genetic tests that are used in diagnosing heart disease. GE Healthcare, which makes diagnostic and medical imaging products, said it invested $5 million in CardioDx through an equity fund that invests in healthcare technology companies. CardioDx makes genetic tests that can be used in treatment of people with conditions including heart failure and coronary artery disease.
