Suspect took trooper's gun, shot nurse inside FL hospital, officials say

A nurse was shot Saturday inside an Ocala hospital after a suspect stole a trooper's gun and opened fire, officials said. As he was being discharged from West Marion Community Hospital, troopers tried to arrest the subject on a charge of failure to obey a lawful order. That's when officials say a struggle broke out and the suspect grabbed a trooper's gun. He opened fire and hit a nurse. The nurse was shot in the leg and was in stable condition.
