New York group practice picks MedcomSoft Record for EMR

After completing an evaluation pilot, the four practices that make up the Community Physicians of New York-Presbyterian at Columbia University Medical Center announced they would implement EMR software from MedcomSoft Record. “In keeping with the New York-Presbyterian Hospital’s leading edge reputation in healthcare information technology, the hospital’s community physicians HIT pilot group set lofty goals in the areas of clinical documentation and interoperability,” said Gabriel Guardarramas, MD, chairman, Community Physicians of New York--Presbyterian at Columbia University Medical Center.
