Great Plains Regional Medical Center picks Medseek to build portal
HealthLeaders News Brief, June 1, 2007
Portal developer Medseek has signed an agreement with Great Plains Regional Medical Center in North Platte, NE, to rebuild Great Plains’ consumer website. The 116-bed medical center will implement Medseek’s content management system, to expand its consumer website’s functionality and to develop an intuitive design that improves site navigation. GPRMC will also receive three custom forms with built-in web components that enable patients to interact online with hospital professionals. The documents include a pre-registration form, an employee application form, and a donation gift-giving form.
"Because of our location, our patients and consumers frequently visit our hospital website to gain fast access to patient and support services," said Jim Anderson, Chief Information Officer at Great Plains Regional Medical Center, in a press release. "Enhancing our medical center’s web presence is a natural expansion of our growth to the ultimate benefit of our patients and the community we serve. We chose MEDSEEK for its market stability and leading industry name and consider them our long-term partner in this endeavor."
