Southern Regional Health System selects Agfa for picture archiving

Agfa HealthCare announced that Southern Regional Health System of Riverdale, GA has selected its HealthCare's integrated RIS/PACS/Reporting Solution, IMPAX Enterprise, for its diagnostic imaging department. IMPAX Enterprise captures and distributes digital images and reports across the hospital setting. The package includes an integrated RIS (Radiology Information System), PACS (Picture Archiving and Communications System) and voice recognition reporting system. The implementation will proceed in a phased approach with the RIS solution expected to go live in July. The PACS system will be deployed across the facility and will include orthopedic and mammography capabilities.
