Minnesota, healthcare firms launching patient records system

Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty and leaders from Allina Hospitals & Clinics, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota, HealthPartners and Medica have announced the formation of the Minnesota Health Information Exchange, an electronic system to allow doctors to quickly view patient records.
