UHS healthcare system names new chief executive

The board of directors at UHS of Greater Binghamton (NY) last week named John M. Carrigg, executive vice president and chief operating officer since 2013, to the top leadership role in the healthcare organization. Carrigg was appointed president and CEO of UHS Hospitals, effective June 1, and president and CEO of the full System, effective Jan. 1, 2018.
