Nancy Pelosi: Healthcare Reform Leader, Lightning Rod
In our annual HealthLeaders 20, we profile individuals who are changing healthcare for the better. Some are longtime industry fixtures; others would clearly be considered outsiders. Some are revered; others would not win many popularity contests. All of them are playing a crucial role in making the healthcare industry better. This is Nancy Pelosi's story.

Todd is just kidding, too (like the author, Joe). Perhaps he hasn't paid attention to the full force of Obamacare as written, when it fully hits in 2014; or perhaps he is - like most uninformed Americans today - whistling as he rearranges the chairs on the Titanic as it heads toward the iceberg.
Yes, Joe, Ms. Pelosi is "changing healthcare for the better"; and Adolph Hitler made the government more responsible to the masses. Why don't we also applaud the President for wanting a single-payer health-care system (WSJ 8-19-10)? So we can then all have health coverage from cradle to grave, and without agents.
How do you know if she has made healthcare better? Most of the legislation has not been implemented and we will not know for several years if the country will be better off.
