Florida Physician to Pay $22.6M to Settle Medicare Fraud Claims
The agreement resolves a lawsuit brought by the Department of Justice alleging that Walter Janke, MD, and his wife violated the False Claims Act by filing false diagnostic codes to inflate Medicare reimbursements.
