MRSA Infects 5% of ED Patients



One in 20 patients in a Boston emergency department tested positive for methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, and of these more than half carried MRSA on multiple sites, study says.

Haven't you misrepresented the MRSA study? It is not 1 in 20 patients, rather 1 in 20 patients who present with skin infections?
