How About an X Prize for Healthcare?



 Healthcare has lots of problems: it's too expensive, it often harms patients rather than heals them, and it's highly inefficient. What if there were a prize attached to the goal of improving healthcare administration. We know that's where the waste is. But what would the criteria be?

When I read this article I found it to be not informational but more a challenge issued. I've often pondered the next disruptive innovation as it pertains to health care administration. My idea involves an expanded use and understanding of health repositories. There should be an X Prize for non-clinical health care. The advancements would be great.
