AHRQ Reports Declines in Diabetes Care
The proportion of low income adults with diabetes who had annual blood sugar level testing and eye and feet exams declined from 39% to 23% between 2002 and 2007, an Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality report shows.
Had it ever dawned on you that the high unemployment rate and no health insurance might be the reason for Blacks and Hispanics not getting the tests they need??? What planet are you on???? And yet when President Obama tried to create an opportunity for all to have health insurance the Republican thugs shot it down.
