Thank you for your article on ACO"s. Why would a Chief Financial Officer in charge of an ACO NOT use a offshore Hospital to make their monthly financials look better to the public? If the policy of the Hospital would be to send all Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG) to their "sister" Hospital in the Cayman Islands with a cost of only $7,000.00, when in their United States Hospital cost $56,000. see: www.healthbase.com Would this not be a way to make their hospital look better to the public as the Best ACO in the area the Hospital serves?
