If what you say is true pplemmons why didn't the industry as whole come up with workable alternave suggestions for discussion? Answer: Because they like(d) being able to milk the system.

"Two years into healthcare reform, the roof hasn't caved in". Phil, the law doesn't really kick in until 2014, of course the roof is still intact, but the foundation is rotting from within! "Healthcare reform" is a cynical, Orwellian name for this transparent government power grab. Hospital leaders can change business models all they like, but if this law stands, they will wake up in 2 years to an industry totally out of their control.
