Dangerous Injection Practices Still a Threat



Over the last decade, accessing shared injectable medications with reused syringes and other unsafe practices have resulted in 130,000 patients being notified they were at risk of infection with viruses or bacteria, says the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Where are these nurses that are reusing syringes and sharing IV meds between patients? I need to know so that I can make sure to NEVER get sick anywhere near them. I surely hope someone in administration is not encouraging this a cost saving measure.
