Ensure smooth and successful construction projects through effective planning.

Hospital construction is a $37 billion annual industry, and is expected to grow as healthcare facilities seek to expand their service offerings and market share. Before taking on a costly and complex remodeling or construction project, hospital leaders need to decide on key planning factors that will affect the project's success, from start to finish.

The Webcast, On Time and On Budget: Successful Teamwork Strategies for Healthcare Construction Projects, explores ways to align incentives for owners, architects, and contractors to effectively manage a construction project that avoids unnecessary delays and cost overruns. Moderated by HealthLeaders Media editors Jim Molpus and Brad Cain, this Webcast will feature three presenters who have overseen major projects in their facilities, and who will offer their firsthand experiences and lessons learned.

If your hospital, health system, medical group, or ambulatory surgery center plans to undertake a construction project of any size in the future, this 90-minute program will provide need-to-know advice for building successful management teams, setting and meeting key deadlines, and staying within budget.

During this Webcast you will learn strategies for

  • completing construction projects—large or small—on time and on budget
  • establishing achievable goals, realistic budgets, and creating successful models/teams
  • effectively handling and incorporating design changes according to budgetary demands and/or fluctuating material costs
