WEBCAST ON CD OR ON-DEMAND

Sponsored by the Top Leadership Teams in Healthcare Conference

presented on August 22, 2007

Is your board up to the quality challenge?

Quality-related trends such as increased transparency, public reporting, and pay for performance are putting the pressure on hospitals and health systems to be more effective than ever. No longer is quality just a patient care issue on the front line, but prominent groups like the Institute for Healthcare Improvement have called for hospital boards to take a more active role in quality measures as well.

Historically, hospital boards have acted as passive recipients of fairly brief quality reports. Now, it is up to the hospital executives to interpret this new era for their boards and learn how to engage them as drivers of the vision for quality in healthcare.

Learn how to prepare them during this webcast, hosted by HealthLeaders Media. During this 90-minute program, expert presenters explore how the role of the board is changing and identify strategies and best practices to help executives educate and engage boards on their new role in improving hospital performance and quality. You'll hear real-life struggles and successes and you'll also receive helpful takeaway tools such as a sample board survey and board education resources.
