Craig E. Samitt, M.D., MBA, is president and chief executive officer of Dean Health System, Inc., in Madison, WI, a position he has held since September 2006. Dr. Samitt is a recognized leader in healthcare strategy, operations, and customer service. Prior to joining Dean, Dr. Samitt served as the chief operating officer at Fallon Clinic, Inc., in Massachusetts, where he led the turnaround of the corporation’s financial and operational performance.
