PINEDALE – The proposed merger between the Sublette County Hospital District and Sublette Center continues to move along, although the latest draft version will take a new form, and additional time, to complete.
The Texas County Memorial Hospital board of trustees entered into an agreement with a recruiting firm to assist in hiring a new chief executive officer. The decision was made at the monthly meeting on Tuesday. Jeff Tindle, president, and CEO of Tindle & Associates from Gravois Mills, Mo., will lead the search.
Mike Sheldon has been named the new CEO for the Arizona State Hospital (ASH), building on more than a decade of behavioral health administrative experience in both the private and public sectors. Sheldon has served as interim CEO at the 360-bed facility in Phoenix since May after serving as the chief operating officer since 2017. He previously oversaw operations at two crisis observation and inpatient psychiatric facilities in Phoenix and Tucson.
Billings Clinic CEO Dr. Scott Ellner has resigned his position, effective immediately, the hospital announced Friday. Ellner has been the top executive at the hospital, the largest in Montana, since the start of 2020. The clinic's board appointed Dr. Clint Seger, the hospital's regional chief medical officer, as interim CEO until a permanent replacement is hired following a national search.
