Blue Shield of CA CEO is out after two months at the helm

Blue Shield of California announced that its board of directors has appointed Mike Stuart, the health plan's CFO, as Interim president/CEO. Stuart succeeds Lois Quam, appointed on January 8, 2025, who is stepping down, effective immediately. The Board will begin a formal search for a permanent successor.
