Health First broke ground on its planned standalone emergency room in Rockledge on Wednesday, Jan. 28. In the wake of the Rockledge Regional Medical Center closing suddenly last year, the facility will offer emergency medical services at the 3300 S. Fiske Blvd. location. The emergency room will be open 24 hours a day, seven days per week. It is expected to open by the mid-2027.
