Meridian's Regency Hospital is slated to close next month, hospital officials said Wednesday. Shelly Eckenroth, chief communication officer for Select Medical, which operates Regency Hospitals, said the closure is expected to take place around March 13. It provides care for patients needing respiratory, neurological, cardiac or other support as they recover from being sick. Eckenroth said patients will still have access to recovery care through other medical providers in the area.
