Abortions will not be performed under a planned merger between Ellis Medicine with St. Peter’s Health Partners, Ellis Medicine President and CEO Paul Milton said at a City Council committee meeting Monday night — in what appears to be the first time anyone from Ellis' health system publicly acknowledged the change.
