ER physician to head Kentucky's Dept. of Public Health

Dr. Steven Stack has been named commissioner of Kentucky’s Department for Public Health. Stack is an emergency physician at Saint Joseph Hospital East in Lexington, and has also served as medical director for the hospital. He has also worked at other Kentucky hospitals and in Tennessee and Ohio. He is also a former president of the American Medical Association.
