Samaritan Medical Center outsourcing hospitalists under Apogee Physicians

In order to fully staff its medical center’s inpatient services, Samaritan Health’s hospitalists will now be outsourced from Apogee Physicians, which went into effect on April 2. Health care staffing remains a problem for hospitals of all sizes and locations, with almost 31 percent reporting that they cannot find enough candidates to fill open positions, according to a survey of over 200 hospital executives, administrators and human resources leaders.
