Worcester surgeon reprimanded for removing kidney from wrong patient

A Worcester urologist who mistakenly removed a kidney from the wrong patient received a reprimand from the state last month. Dr. Ankur M. Parikh, 37, received the reprimand from the Board of Registration in Medicine on Dec. 20 after admitting to the error in a consent order.
