Rural clinic in Trump district shuts down, CEO cites Medicaid cuts

A rural clinic located in a district President Donald Trump won by more than 50 points in the 2024 election is being forced to shut down as the CEO cites federal cuts to Medicaid as a driving factor. Community Hospital, based in McCook, Nebraska, says that it will shut down a rural clinic it runs in the town of Curtis, which has about 900 people.
