Marin County, CA records 21 'breakthrough' infections after COVID-19 vaccines

Twenty-one people in Marin County have tested positive for COVID-19 after getting vaccinated against the disease, according to county health officials. In each case, the COVID-19 diagnosis came at least two weeks after the person had been fully vaccinated, meaning two doses of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines or one dose of the single-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
