N.Y. Legislature repealing Gov. Cuomo's emergency pandemic powers

The New York Legislature will pass legislation to repeal Gov. Andrew Cuomo's emergency powers granted last year at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Democratic leaders in both the Senate and Assembly announced on Tuesday evening. The legislation will allow current directives pertaining to preserving public health to continue.
