'The threat is still real:' Adena Health System preparing for a surge of COVID-19 cases

Seventeen people. That's how many gathered from one Ross County family to attend a funeral. Of those, 14 contracted the coronavirus and two more died from the disease. That's the story that Chief Clinical Officer for Adena Health System Dr. Kirk Tucker thinks of when processing the severity of COVID-19 in the community. As coronavirus cases in Ross County continue to rise, and with cold and flu season approaching, the health system is urging the community to stay active in the fight against COVID-19.
