U.S. gearing up to mass produce Regeneron COVID-19 treatment

The federal government is preparing to help Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Inc. manufacture “tens or hundreds of thousands of doses” of the Covid-19 antibody cocktail give to President Donald Trump, HHS Secretary Alex Azar said Thursday. The experimental therapy is one of several monoclonal antibody treatments in testing that may help treat patients with Covid-19. Regeneron said Wednesday that it has asked the Food and Drug Administration to authorize the treatment.
