Doctor who killed himself at WI hospital had struggled with depression

The anesthesiology resident who killed himself at Froedtert Hospital in Wisconsin early Tuesday had been struggling with depression and had previously tried to take his life in 2016, according to the Milwaukee County medical examiner's report. Wayne A. Hendrix, 43, was found dead of a fentanyl overdose early Tuesday after barricading himself in an operating room on Christmas night.
