Carthage Area Hospital's annual report shows positive operating performance

Carthage Area Hospital’s audited financial statements for the year of 2017 report an operating profit of $311,678, the second year in a row and second since 2009 the organization has had positive year-end operating performance. Operating expenses for the hospital in 2017 were almost $50 million, with over half of the expenses going toward salaries and wages.
