Howe has served as Envision's interim CFO since January.
Envision Healthcare named Henry Howe as the company's permanent CFO Wednesday afternoon.
Howe has served as Envision's interim CFO since January and will oversee the Nashville-based medical group's "finance, accounting, treasury, tax and procurement functions."
Howe joined Envision in April 2020 as executive vice president of enterprise strategy and financial planning, a role he will continue to serve.
"Since joining Envision in April 2020, Henry has successfully helped us navigate the ongoing pandemic and has been instrumental in our medical group’s budgeting and resource planning process," Jim Rechtin, CEO of Envision, said in a statement. "Henry is a tenured leader with experience driving operational improvements, which will make a meaningful difference in the delivery of care for our clinicians and our patients."
In December, Envision announced a series of C-suite moves, including then-CFO Wessel "Wes" Booysen's transition out of the company due to personal reasons.
"Envision is a group of talented and innovative individuals who are committed to improving the delivery of care and the health of communities across the U.S. I’m honored to be a part of a team that is empowering clinicians to care for 32 million patients each year," Howe said in a statement. "Our finance team will continue supporting frontline clinicians and patients while ensuring Envision’s long-term growth and ability to deliver care when and where it’s needed most."
