Members of the Health Employees Federal Credit Union, or HEFCU, have approved a merger with the much larger SEFCU, the State Employees Federal Credit Union. HEFCU has 3,500 members and three offices, at Albany Medical Center, St. Peter's Hospital and Ellis Hospital, all of which will become SEFCU offices when the merger is finalized.
