Judge orders Anthem must keep a share of Kentucky's $8 billion in Medicaid contracts

Finding that a spurned bidder has raised a "substantial question" about how Kentucky awarded $8 billion in Medicaid contracts, a judge has ordered the state to add Anthem to the five companies that won contracts to serve most Kentuckians enrolled in the health plan. Anthem filed a lawsuit challenging the award after it was excluded from new contracts awarded in May.
