Premise Health Buys Direct Primary Care Competitor CareHere

The acquisition brings Premise's total annual revenues to approximately $1 billion, according to a press release.

Premise Health, a direct primary care provider, announced that it signed a definitive agreement to acquire its competitor CareHere, LLC, Tuesday morning.

The two companies, both based in Brentwood, Tennessee, will form a combined entity that reaches more than 11 million covered lives and operates more than 850 onsite and nearsite wellness centers.

The acquisition also brings Premise's total annual revenues to approximately $1 billion, according to a press release.

"CareHere is a pioneer in the direct health care space with a shared vision for the future of care focused on access, quality, experience, and value, and the combined capabilities of our two leading organizations will enable Premise Health to transform the health care experience for employers, members, and their families."

The transaction is expected to close on September 30.
