San Antonio's CaptureRx sues CVS for 'anticompetitive conduct'

San Antonio health care technology company CaptureRx says in a lawsuit that it has lost a substantial amount of business — and is at risk of losing a lot more — due to anticompetitive actions by pharmacy giant CVS. CaptureRx accuses CVS Health Corp. of violating antitrust laws by requiring hospitals and health centers working with CVS pharmacies to switch to Wellpartner, a CVS subsidiary, to provide administrative services for an obscure federal drug discount program, known as 340B. Wellpartner and CaptureRx are competitors.
