UnitedHealth Group Inc. will pay $560 million less for DaVita Inc.’s medical group than previously announced, according to a regulatory filing. Minnetonka-based UnitedHealth and DaVita agreed to drop the purchase price from $4.9 billion to $4.34 billion, citing “underlying business performance” and “an effort to expedite” regulatory approval. In a Securities and Exchange Commission filing made last week, the companies said they were working toward closing the deal in the first quarter.
