Walmart expected to leave CVS Caremark pharmacy networks amid dispute

CVS Health Corp. said Walmart Inc. pharmacies are expected to leave drugstore networks offered by its pharmacy-benefit management unit, in a dispute over pricing. The clash between the two giants will affect people whose employers have CVS-administered drug benefits, as well as Medicaid enrollees with CVS drug coverage. If the split is completed, their plans wouldn’t pay for prescriptions filled at Walmart.
