Why Hallmark Health chose Tufts' parent for partner

After months of consideration and years of effort, Hallmark Health has announced that it will bring its two-hospital system under the wing of Wellforce. The parent company to Tufts Medical Center and Circle Health — which includes Lowell General Hospital — Wellforce presents an alternative to previous plans the health care group had to join with Partners HealthCare.
