Another Lutheran Health executive fired; two resign

Turmoil continues at Lutheran Health Network in the wake of an unsuccessful attempt by a group of local physicians and others to acquire the eight-hospital group from Tennessee-based Community Health Systems Inc. According to letters written by employees to Mike Poore, CEO of Lutheran Hospital, Dr. Geoff Randolph has been fired as the network's chief medical officer, while two other prominent physicians Chairman of Anesthesiology Dr. Kevin Stockmaster and Lutheran Hospital Chief Medical Officer Dr. Matthew Sutter have resigned. Meanwhile, CHS human resources officials remain in Fort Wayne, with more changes possible.
