Bronx doctor jumps to his death from hospital roof

A Bronx doctor with a history of mental-health problems bought a shotgun before he went up to the roof of Montefiore Medical Center and jumped to his death, police sources said Monday. Anesthesiologist Gabriel Goodwin, 35, leaped to his death from the roof of a hospital parking garage just after 7 p.m. on Friday, and he was pronounced dead there minutes later.
