Citizens Memorial Hospital hit a major milestone, celebrating the grand opening of its new hospital tower over the weekend. People were given a tour of the facility on Saturday, getting to see inside firsthand before CMH staff slowly moved in through March and April. Construction of the project began back in 2023. The opening of the hospital nearly marks the end of Phase 1 of the project. As part of their $100 million-dollar Hospital Expansion & Renovation Plan, the new building expands the number of rooms as well as its size.
